FireStorm is the communications and file-distribution (aka, Repository access) layer of HeroEngine. All the processes started by Master Control on the server side of HeroEngine are FireStorm Daemons. They share a common set of FireStorm parameters, which can be modified via the Master Control Console. See Editing configuration values.

FireStorm Daemon parameters

Every HeroEngine server Process inherits from the FireStorm application layer. The following parameters are common to all of the processes.

StatsUpdateIntervalSeconds integer Frequency in seconds of stats updates to the stat server 10
StatsUpdateMailboxName string Well known mailbox name of the stat server StatStation
StatsUppercaseAccountNames integer A non-zero value means all accounts are reported in upper case to the stat server 1
sendingBandwidth integer the rate at which data will be sent in bytes per millisecond 0
