Character is collapsed into a knot on the ground
If your character is collapsed into a big knot (pile of polygons) on the ground, then there is no animation playing on the character. One reason this can happen is if the Animation Agent Script (.AAS) has a compile error or other logical problem that causes it not to be issuing any animations on the AnimAllBody channel.
- Check the error panel in HeroBlade, it will give you a line number on the script where any compile error might have occurred. Adjust the Animation Agent Script (.AAS) to fix any errors.
- If the Animation Agent Script seems right, then the problem may be with one or more Animation Sequence (.ASQ) definitions. Check that the sequences your .AAS is trying to play during that moment are correct.
- Missing or incorrectly exported animation files can also be a problem.
- Lastly, with a Dynamic Character, check that the skeleton file was properly exported and specified.
